René is a real estate and corporate partner in the San Francisco office of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states. René is accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He has been part of teams involved in environmentally-sensitive energy projects, and has led projects at the intersection of technology and the environment, such as when he led a team in developing and implementing a strategy to help a multi-national European car company establish its first all-electric car-sharing business in the United States. René holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco. René lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children. 

 
Hanno is Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gabi Insurance, the "Amazon of Personal Insurance" in the United States. He grew up in Germany, studied business administration at the University of Cologne/Germany and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Bremen/Germany. He worked at McKinsey for 7 years where he led consulting teams in retail, online businesses, international expansion and M&A strategies. In 2011 he co-founded IONIQ, a European platform-builder for digital companies. Hanno opened the IONIQ San Francisco office in 2013 and after that built the early-stage investment arm for a leading European media company before he co-founded Gabi Insurance in 2016. Hanno lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children.
